Police sergeant surprises homeless veteran with food, money, and a new car
A police sergeant for the Moore, Ok Police Department went above and beyond when he helped a homeless veteran he met while patrolling his community.
Police Sergeant Dustin Schultz, a veteran of the U.S. Army, met Jeff, a homeless veteran when he was down on his luck and sleeping in his car. The Moore Police Department posted on their Facebook page that Sgt. Schultz bough the man breakfast and gave him some money for gas and food. This act of kindness, however, did not end there.
Sgt. Schultz wanted to do more so he reached out to his followers on TikTok and asked if anyone could donate money to help Jeff. News9 reported that together they raised $6,000 and gave Jeff a new car and car insurance, with some money left over for him to get a place to stay.
Great job going above and beyond Sgt. Schultz. You are a true hero.
