An Anderson, South Carolina police officer is a hero today after saving the life of a choking 3 month old baby.
Makayla Robinson told FOX Carolina that she was drawn to her 3 month old baby Patricia, after she heard her making a strange noise. That’s when the mother found her baby turning blue.
Officer Patrick Anderson received the call of Patricia not breathing and rushed to the scene. Officer Anderson arrived within minutes and quickly took Patricia, placed her over his knee, and began patting her back. Suddenly baby Patricia spit up and her cheeks returned to normal color.
Officer Wagner said, "You know you start thinking about your own children and how you would want someone there as quick as possible to help them. It was just a thunderstorm of thoughts going,"
Robinson continued, “I am very thankful. He was like a guardian angel and like I said, there was not enough thanks in this world that I could give him. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think my child would have made it”
In the interview with FOX Carolina Officer Wagner said, “It makes you remember why you started doing this in the first place.”
Patricia’s mom said she will sleep better at night knowing that Officer Wagner is protecting her family.
Thank you Officer Wagner. You are a true hero.
