5 teens awarded Medal of Heroism for coming to the aid of deputy
Last month we posted a story about 5 teens in King County Washington that came to the aid of a deputy that was being choked by an intoxicated suspect. The teens without a doubt saved the life of that deputy.
Well King County, WA Sheriff Mitzi G. Johanknecht, along with Auburn Police Chief O'Neil, presented the 5 teenagers with the Sheriff's "Medal of Heroism” award.
This is the second time Sheriff Johanknecht has awarded a citizen the Medal of Heroism, an award she created to honor community members who do extraordinary things. The deserving recipients are:
Darrell Swilley 16 years old
Isaiha Sansaver 17 years old
Dominic Sansaver 19 years old
Tyran Powell 18 years old
Kai Tavares 18 years old
We can't thank these fine young men enough. They are true heroes.
